See think wonder

See think wonder

In the image one I see an aboriginal man with a spear hunting and ostrich and I see and another aboriginal man the background.

In image 1I think he is hunting because he has a spear in his hand and he’s right in front of an animal. In image 1 I wonder if he is Hunting.

In image two I see two dogs and two men on horses in the lake.

Image two I think they are having a break because it has the men looking like they’re getting off their horses. Back in the 1800s dark people were slaves i’m guessing they were slaves. In image two i wonder if they are slaves.

In image three I see a few dark skin people carrying wood and a white skin person leaning against a house with dogs and the man looks angry. I think the dark people are upset.

I wonder if they were slaves.

Image four I see two men on horses and one man on the ground with his gun I see many bushes and trees as well. I also see two men one man on a horse and a dark skin person on the ground. I think the white person is mistreating the dark person because he is on the ground. I wonder if the dark man is injured.

In image five I see a dark man and a white man shooting at two of what look like aboriginals. I also see kangaroos and trees in the background. I think the aboriginals are injured. I wonder if one is dead or very hurt.

My Avatar

Hi everyone

I chose a neon background because neon is my favourite colour. I did Blue eyes because my eyes are blue. I chose wavy hair as my hair because a lot of the time my hair is wavy. I chose a neon jacket because one of my favourite jacket is neon and neon is my favourite colour. I chose my avatar to be smiling a bit because I normally don’t smile too much in photos and I normally smile with my mouth closed.

Term 1 Library Reflection

Hi everyone,

My favourite genre is crime because I love the tension And it’s always very intriguing and fun to read or listen to my favourite crime book is the fall I only started reading it two weeks ago and I’m not finished yet but so far it has been very good I found out about this book since we had it is one of the book chapbooks we could choose is very intriguing fun to read and has a lot of tension it is fun to see what happens next.

The book travel guy and reading at the moment is the fall. A brief summary of the book is it’s about a boy who lives in an apartment and a top for witness is a murder he has to figure out how did this happen and Why did this happen. Lately in the book the main character has been investigating the area and the apartments. And seeing if people are suspicious of anything.

My First Month in Year 5

Year 5,

The first month of year 5 was amazing on the fist two weeks we went bike riding. On the first week of bike riding we were going on jumps and obstacle courses. On the second week we went on a dirt track it was so fun. Me and my friend were at the of the class. At one point I went down a massive steep hill and I fell off I was badly bruised and my knee was in deep pain but I got back up and continued.

Swimming,

On the third week we went swimming it was so fun.  I jumped off the diving board. Since we did well we in swimming we got to go off three times one of the times. One of the times I fell on my back it wasn’t fun the other times I did cannibal it was the best.

Triathlon,

The triathlon is when you do three things and you get timed. The first thing you had to do was go on a full lap swimming in a 25 metre pool. Then you have to jump out the pool without getting changed or drying yourself you would go on your bike for 1.7 km. Then you had to get off your bike and finish it off with at 800 meter run.

If you got to do those three thing witch one would you do and why??

Year 4

Dear Future Year 4’s,

I hear you’re coming up to 4LX next year.

Here’s three things you should know:

• there is much more homework like spelling and math

•  it is a year to look forward to because you get to go on lots of trips

•  Mrs Lenox is a great teacher because she is open to many Idea

A couple of things to look forward to are:

•  camp because the giant swing

•  Cranburne Gardens because it is so nice
A time I laughed was when I picked up cheese because I thought the cheese was a post it note.

A time I was challenged was when  we took the wrong way to camp so instead of the walk taking 45 minutes it took two 2.5 hours. I am proud of how much I tried in sports.

I always remember Mrs Lennox saying your so funny

Nativity play

“Mummy I want my mummy!!” exclaimed the petrified shepherd as he jumped into the other shepherds arms. This scene was when the angles frightened the shepherds. I was one of the shepherds I was shepherd number two and a innkeeper and the star and helped up a sine.

A Challenge that when people were away we would have to work. around it.

I really enjoyed doing the rehearsals because they were fun to do and to see the performance get better and better.

Have you ever done a play if you have what was your favourite part and why??

Natural disaster

This term I wrote my information report on  tsunamis.

We ended the unit by creating dioramas to show our understanding and shared them with our year 2 buddies.

Whilts creating our dioramas I found challenging making my lever. I most enjoyed making the wave.

What type of natural disaster would you like to research and why??

Fun Perimeter

In Measurement and Geometry we are looking at calculating the perimeter and area of regular shapes.

Perimeter is the border. Area is the space covered inside.

In the real world using knowledge of this would help you with looking at the size of a house.

Question How would this help you and why????

Division

We are the near the end of year and have learned many different strategies to help us in all areas of maths.

One particularly interesting method to help you to divide big numbers can be to know the divisibility rules.

Each group in our class investigated one and has made a video to share so that we can all learn from each other.

Click my video link below to see the video we made on 5s and 10s:

Answer the final question.

WED

In integrated we are learning about erosion, weathering and deposition.

Weathering is when something is in one place then it moves to another. Say there was a tsunami it would move trees from one place to another. Erosion is when the wind moves the item somewhere or picks it up and depositions when it goes into a gutter or other areas. We went for a walk around our school and found these examples.
